We are a family campsite situated in Raydale in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Arrivals: from 12.30pm - 8.30pm (your own tent) 1.30pm - 8.30pm (Tipi rental tents) (sorry no arrivals after 8.30pm). Sadly we don't accept campervans or motorhomes on site.
Departure Time 11.00am.
Commensurate with the National Park and beautiful wildlife around us we are a strictly no music campsite to preserve this.
We have based the site on back to nature camping therefore we are a non-electric tent campsite only (no campervans), with no mobile signal or WiFi for a relaxing and peaceful holiday to escape everyday life, with a campfire pit on each pitch.
Our facilities are: 5 flushing toilets, urinals, 5 showers, several basins, hot water, ladies hair dryer, razor charge, hand dryers, baby change point, outdoor washing up sinks a freezer and fresh drinking water.
You are more than welcome to sit around all night star gazing, but our quiet time, (as so to not disturb anybody else), is between 9.30pm - 7.30am.
All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after by their owners.
We have a small shop on site which sells firewood and stocks a small range of snacks together with a few camping essentials for your convenience
We also make fresh sourdough pizzas on selected days throughout the season. Available for pre order
As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we have installed photovoltaic roof panels on the barn roof to supply the facilities with green energy
We have also installed an electric vehicle charging point, for use by customers but must be requested and booked in advance.
Group bookings are minimal and by prior arrangement only and we do not accept stag or hen parties. Please do not book separately with others and request to be all together, thus making it a group.
School Holidays & Weekends are a minimum 2 night stay
Car/Truck Roof tents by prior arrangement only. Unfortunately we cannot accept Campervans or commercial vehicles
.
Please help us look after the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire heritage dry stone walls, (please always use the gates and don't climb over them), they are very old & fragile and should they collapse because of this the rebuilding costs are approximately £75 per metre and you will be charged.
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds of 30 days of your arrival date, nor for non / late arrivals, early departures or poor weather. Please take out your own holiday insurance to cover this.
Without a booking your visitors or their cars are not permitted on the campsite as they are not covered on our liability insurance, so if you plan to meet friends please let us know in advance or arrange to meet them off-site.
We welcome you to bring your furry canine friend, although all dogs must be kept on leads on the campsite as we have free range chickens and goats.
If your stay is for longer that a week then we may need to move the tent to preserve the National Park grasslands.
Because we are in the National Park we are not allowed any disposable tin foil type bbq's on the site whatsoever - they burn the land, (raised off the ground on leg types are ok or you can hire one of our permitted ones).
Refunds or changes will not be given due to Covid 19 or illnesses if you cannot attend. Please ensure you have your own travel insurance in place to cover this possibility. Stablefell Holiday accepts no liability.
Please note: by completing your booking it is deemed you have read and accept the Stable Fell Holidays rules.
