Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

The health and safety of our guests is our number 1 priority and as a result of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we have put some additional measures in place to follow government guidelines.

We are a family run site, and would ask that you kindly respect the additional requirements and thank you in advance for your compliance with them.

  • Contactless check in – When you arrive on site, please park your vehicle in the carpark. A notice board will be located near the barn and provide you with details of your allocated pitch number.

  • If you are allocated a pitch in the top field then please feel free to drive your car to your pitch for unloading only. Once unloaded please return your car to the carpark. If you are allocated in the bottom field, please feel free to leave your car next to your pitch. Please limit movement of the car as much as possible and note the speed limited for the site is 5 mph

  • Sensible social distancing – our pitches have ample spacing and we have reduced the number of people on site to aid with social distancing

  • There will be signs and floor markings as a common sense reminder to keep a sensible distance from other people.

  • The toilet and wash facility block will be open 24 hours and cleaning frequency will be increased, we are encouraging the use of face coverings when inside the facility block.

  • To help with social distancing, we will be allocating pitches into ‘groups’ with each group having a morning or evening allocation for peak times for use of the shower facilities. To assist we would ask that people limit showers to one short shower per person. Unfortunately, due to the local drainage facilities (septic tank) we do not allow guests to bring their own toilet tents.

  • Guests will not be able to have any day visitors to their pitches – this will help us limit the number of people on site.

  • Our internal washing up area is closed however our external washing up area has been upgraded to provide cover and a screen.

  • Please follow hand washing guidance; whilst we will have this available on site whenever possible, we’d ask guests to also bring with them their own supplies of soap and hand sanitiser.

We appreciate that the Coronavirus Lockdown has been tough for everyone and that no doubt all guests are looking forward to a break, however this is only possible with the support and cooperation of our guests, whilst we do our utmost to comply with the above we do need our guests to use common sense and abide by all government guidelines as much as possible.

We hope you have a fantastic camping getaway. Please be respectful to the local communities and areas that you’re visiting, use your common sense on site, be courteous to other guests and look out for your children

Thankyou
